Join us on July 5th for this annual event which is quickly becoming a favourite of all Wildwood Path staff… Our Womens/Trans Scout Night, when we get down and dirty with the wild woods! Whit and Trevanna are excited to learn and play with you all as we explore what it means to be a scout.
We’ll learn about tactics for camouflage, sneaking, spotting, and blending in with the baseline of the wild world around us. Sure to be fun+silly while also challenging our preconceived notions about what is possible and leaving us feeling more empowered, connected, and confident in the world.
Prepare to get close to trees, soil, fire, bugs, darkness, and your deep questions about relating to the land and how to live well in these challenging times. Come ready to laugh, play, listen, and share… and wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty!
We’ll gather at 6:00pm and wrap up by 9:30… RSVPs are a must. You may register via Eventbrite or send an email letting us know to save you a spot. We are meeting at our home base, Paridae Grove, at 573 Waning Road in Unity, Maine.
Sliding Scale donations are requested in the $12 to $75 range, and our usual pricing options apply as always– Tuition Waivers for Indigenous people; Awards from our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion fund; and Barter and Trade to offset costs are all available. Profits will be put back into the award funds that make these reparation systems possible.
Gratitude to our teachers and friends who have shared these skills with us and keep challenging us to hone them! We hope to see many of you at this event so that we can share the love. ♥
