We are committed to the Wildwood Path being a circle that can support participants, staff, and land over the long term. We honor all of the hard work that goes into this program from participants, elders, and staff, and we want to celebrate one another for all of our contributions.
To cover program costs and continue to make the Wildwood Path accessible to all, we invite participants to contribute financially along the following sliding scale, understanding that at times extenuating circumstances (such as having unusual sources of income like familial support or unusually draining expenses such as many dependents) may influence individual cases. We are happy to discuss program costs with each participant to ensure a good match. The break-even cost of this program is $350/month per participant, so a mixture of people paying both more and less than this amount is necessary to ensure that the program can thrive and continue to be a diverse and sustainable circle.
With mutual acceptance into the circle, each member commits to paying the full price for the year (either in a lump sum or in monthly installments) regardless of attendance at specific events or gatherings each month. In addition to program costs, everyone also chips in by bringing potluck food, helping to take care of our spaces, and offering other forms of support to build authentic community and contribute authentically to co-creating a healthy culture!
Sliding Scale Contributions
|Total Household Income||Program Cost (month/year)|
|$15,000 - $20,000||$250/$2025|
|$20,000 - $25,000||$275/$2250|
|$25,000 - $30,000||$300/$2700|
|$30,000 - $35,000||$325/$2925|
|$35,000 - $50,000||$350/$3150|
|$50,000 - $75,000||$400/$3600|
|$75,000 - $100,000||$450/$4050|
|$100,000 - $150,000||$500/$4950|
|$150,00 - $200,000||$550/$4950|
|$200,00 - $250,000||$600/$5400|
We are happy to discuss bartering and work/trade options to defray the cost if the low end of the sliding scale is still prohibitive, and we can support fundraising efforts and payment plans as needed.
We are currently in the process of raising money for an application-based award to support the participation and leadership of people who are currently under-represented in the nature-connection movement. We would love to see these skills spread to all communities. People who identify as queer, people of color, and people with physical handicaps are encouraged to apply—and please reach out to us if you feel this award is right for you for another reason, or if you would like to donate to support the fund!
Through sharing abundance among all of us in our community, we can come together to support each other and make this dream a reality for everyone.
